Earth

Earth, not to be confused with the earth, is a term collectively used for any brown granulated substance that makes up the ground, be it soil, sand, dust, or poo. The term comes from the fact that earth the substance is what was assumed, at the time of the terms development, to entirely make up the planet earth. Since then, however, this theory has been disproved (see the earth)
