Our Privacy Policy

Your Email Address

In providing your email address, Wiki will not use it for any other purpose than that for which it has been provided for. Such cases can include, but are not restricted to, the emailing of notifications to you of updates to your Talk Page (My Talk), any Watched Pages (My Watchlist), account verification and/or being contacted by another member (including from the WikiAdminTeam).

Your Account Password

When you create a new account on the Wiki and supply us with a password to your account, we make every effort to ensure that your password is encrypted in our databases, using a salted hash that is difficult to break. There is no method for us to gain access to your password.

NOTE: If you still feel unsure and are not satisfied with our guarantee of the safety of your password you can use Google to find out about MediaWiki security. The software we use to power WikiForAll is the same software that powers Wikipedia, so any insecurity of your user data is a serious problem.

Your Personal Information

You do not have to give any other information to us other than what you submit to/on the Wiki. We are not responsible for any access to your personal information gained through the content on pages on the Wiki, unless they have been created by the Administration Team.

WikiForAll will not supply your personal information to any third parties and it will be kept on the WikiForAll database only. However, we cannot guarantee that your data will be kept secure if (and only if) legal action is taken against WikiForAll. Breaking our Policy may cause this legal action to be taken against us. If no legal action is taken against us, breaking the policy does NOT provide grounds for us to breach your privacy.
